2 Flutes Torus Radius Endmill for Alluminium (Right Helix)
Developed for high-performance machining on aluminium and light alloys, this two-flute end mill combines the efficiency of a right helix with the strength of a torus radius tip. The corner radius reinforces the cutting edge at its most critical point, reducing mechanical stress and wear while ensuring flawless, high-quality blends.
This cutter features a 40° right helix angle, engineered to maximize cutting smoothness and surface finish quality. The twin flutes are completely mirror-polished, ensuring rapid upward chip evacuation and eliminating thermal friction to prevent built-up edge.
The front geometry allows complex drilling, ramp milling, full-slot pocketing, and subsequent perimeter trimming to be performed in a single setup, optimizing cycle times.
The tool is available both in a short version (102TC), optimized for maximum rigidity and resistance to deflection, and a long version (102TCL) to reach deeper pockets. For the most demanding applications and to extend tool life, it is also available with the exclusive high-hardness Cer-taC coating, which further reduces the friction coefficient.
