Engineered to ensure maximum stability and excellent abrasive wear resistance, this PCD end mill combines Polycrystalline Diamond technology with a straight-flute profile and torus radius. The straight-flute architecture eliminates axial thrust on the workpiece, making it ideal for layered materials or thin-walled components. The torus radius evenly distributes mechanical stress on the tool corner, preventing micro-chipping and drastically extending the tool life.
Thanks to the extreme hardness of PCD, the end mill maintains its accuracy over time, reducing abrasive wear typical of machining carbon fibre composites (CFRP), fiberglass, graphite, and high-silicon aluminum alloys. It is ideal for high-precision CNC contouring and structural facing.
