2 Flutes Cutter Up&Down Chip Breaker

This product line has been developed to maximise the mechanical properties of solid carbide and to overcome the toughness and extreme elasticity of aramid fibres. Our HPC 2-flute end mills with alternating chip breaker provide a definitive solution for clean Kevlar machining without delamination, both in drilling and milling operations.

Unlike traditional composite materials, Kevlar fibres tend to bend rather than break; the special alternating micro-serration creates a cross-cutting action that traps and cleanly severs the filaments, preventing the tool from dragging or fraying them.

The two-flute configuration maximises flute space, ensuring immediate evacuation of filamentous waste material and drastically reducing fibre build-up in the cutting area.

The specialised front geometry ensures excellent stability and precision during drilling, delivering clean, burr-free edges.

Developed in various lengths to suit any material thickness.
