Z=2 Drilling Front Cut End Mill for Fibreglass
Designed for fibrous materials and for contouring, trimming and peripheral shaping operations. The 135° Z=2 drilling geometry allows extremely easy direct axial entry into the workpiece.
This configuration makes it possible to perform complex drilling cycles and subsequent peripheral trimming in a single setup, optimising cycle times and eliminating the need for pre-drilling.
The tool body concentrates all cutting efficiency on the peripheral diameter, where we offer the possibility to customise the cutting action by choosing between three different tooth configurations:
- Fine: ideal for thin materials and high-quality finishes
- Medium: the most versatile choice for a perfect balance between material removal and surface finish
- Coarse: designed to maximise chip evacuation and machining speed on thicker materials
This peripheral micro-geometry pulverises fibreglass (GFRP), glass-reinforced plastics and laminated panels, drastically reducing cutting forces while eliminating delamination and fraying.
Ideal for CNC machining centres and CNC routers.
